"Multiservice Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Aspects of Consequence Management" is a manual designed to provide multiservice tactics on consequence-management operations. The book defines the roles of military units involved in planning integrated military operations other than war actions/missions in an NBC environment. It also addresses concepts such as principles & fundamentals including training support functions that serve as a foundation for developing multiservice manuals.

The purpose behind this publication is to bridge the gap between service & joint doctrine while providing TTPs (tactics techniques procedures)for executing nuclear biological chemical operations during MOOTW missions supporting JP 3-07 & JP 3-07.7.The audience includes COCOM,the JTF,functional&service component staffs tasked with conducting crisis-management operations.

This MTTP serves as a guide towards mitigating consequences caused by deliberate or accidental employment of NBC weapons attacks or contamination with toxic industrial materials(TIM),including toxic industrial chemicals(TIC);or radiological materials.It supports Universal Joint Task List Tasks Strategic National(SN)8.3.4,&Operational(OP)Task5.7.8.Coordination/planning takes place linking it to national strategy acknowledging services' inherent capabilities supporting federal,state,and local governments.

Overall,this manual drives examination organizations&materiel developments applicable to military support CM Operations.This publication will be reviewed&validated by participating service command offices before being incorporated into their respective regulations/manuals.&curricula.The Army will incorporate this publication in US Army training publications according to DA Form12-99-R.Marines Corps,Navy,Air Force,&Coast Guard have their own distribution systems.
